In 2016-2017, Chingiz leaf lettuce underwent preliminary production trials using flow-through technology at the Vesna Agrocomplex in Stavropol Krai. The variety lived up to its name, showing good results.
Brief description of the Chingiz variety:
Early maturing – 39-43 days from transplanting to crown harvest (300 g or more). High resistance to stem rot, marginal burn, and downy mildew. Excellent combination of productivity, early maturity, and marketability. Can be used to produce baby leaves. Recommended for cultivation: in central Russia in spring, early summer, and fall; in southern Russia – in spring and fall.
