On February 15th of this year, the conference "Seeds, Plant Protection Products, Agricultural Technologies. Astrakhan 2018" was held in Astrakhan. It has become a tradition, taking place here for the sixth year. It was organized by the Astrakhan Region branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Rosselkhoztsentr."
Participants in this exhibition and conference included companies supplying seeds, plant protection products, fertilizers, planting material, agricultural machinery, and specialized equipment. Employees from scientific and educational institutions, processing plants, and credit and insurance organizations also participated.
Viktor Aleksandrovich Shlyakhov, head of the Astrakhan Region branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Rosselkhoztsentr," addressed the participants with a welcoming speech. He expressed gratitude for their participation in the exhibition, outlined the main objectives, and expressed his wishes for a productive work at the event.
The conference program included presentations by company representatives, accompanied by detailed descriptions of the products and services they offer. Discussions focused on mineral nutrition for vegetable crops, new plant protection products, modern technologies and equipment for product quality assessment, and financial protection and credit support for crop growers. Microbiological products, seeds, and new agricultural technology were presented at the exhibition.
Over 350 people attended the conference, including representatives from 40 leading supplier companies, many of which are well known to farmers in our region (Syngenta LLC, BASF LLC, Agroliga LLC, Agro-Department LLC, Pegas-Agro LLC, Listerra LLC, Hybrid Seeds-Volga LLC, EuroChem Trading Rus LLC, Bayer JSC, and others), eight educational and research institutes, banks, processing plants, and agricultural producers in the region. Delegations from the Republic of Kazakhstan and Kalmykia also attended the exhibition.
Our company also presented vegetable seeds at the exhibition, including popular and well-known hybrids and promising new products.
The event's primary goal was achieved: the exhibition provided a unique business environment for networking and gaining up-to-date information on key trends in modern innovative agricultural technologies. Participants expressed interest in collaborating with many of the invited companies on the procurement of seed products, crop protection products, and equipment, as well as the supply of agricultural products for sale.
